Dear Cahill Families,

Happy New Year, and welcome to 2026! We are so thrilled to have our hallways filled with the laughter, energy, and curiosity of our students once again. We hope everyone had a restful and joyful winter break, full of family time, fun, and a little bit of snow!

As we start this new year, we look forward to continuing our journey together - encouraging learning, fostering kindness, and celebrating the unique strengths of every child. The start of a new year is the perfect time to set goals, explore new ideas, and embrace exciting opportunities. We can’t wait to see all the creativity, perseverance, and joy that our students will bring to their classrooms in 2026.

Here are some important dates for January to keep in mind:

• January 16 – Student Council Spirit Day: Wacky Clothes & Hair Day! Encourage your child to show off their most creative and silly styles.

• January 19 – Martin Luther King Jr. Day: Schools are closed in observance of this important holiday.

• January 27 – Literacy Night: Join us for an evening of reading, activities, and family fun. It’s a wonderful opportunity to share the love of reading with your children and see their learning in action.

• January 30 – Report Cards go home: We look forward to sharing your child’s progress and celebrating their accomplishments.
