Superintendent's Conference e Day May 2025
It began with hands-on sessions on classroom design, writing instruction, executive functioning, and restorative practices. In the afternoon, more than 40 sessions were led by our own educators and administrators—sharing strategies on everything from equitable grading to student engagement. A K-12 Writing Gallery Walk showcased growth across the district’s writing program. To recharge midday, staff chose from brain breaks like goat therapy, karaoke, puzzles, or bike rides—adding a little fun while promoting wellness and connection.

At the June 9 Board of Education meeting, Saugerties Central School District recognized four teachers who were granted tenure, marking an important milestone in their professional careers and continued service to students.

During the June 9 Board of Education meeting, the District had the privilege of honoring and celebrating the careers of several individuals who are retiring from Saugerties Central School District. The group included teachers, teaching assistants, secretary, monitor, social worker, and the District Treasurer, each of whom has made a meaningful difference in the lives of students across the district.
