Recent Saugerties graduate earns third place in National SkillsUSA competition.
Cosmo, who completed the Ulster BOCES Small Engine Mechanics Repair program, previously won first place at the New York State SkillsUSA competition. Ulster BOCES Career & Technical Center Principal Joseph Salamone praised Cosmo’s dedication and expertise, predicting many more successes ahead. SkillsUSA is a premier showcase for America’s top career and technical education students, promoting excellence, technical expertise, and leadership. We are so proud of Cosmo!

Saugerties Central School District has hired Dr. Rick Timbs, a respected school finance expert, to assist with the development of the 2025-2026 school budget by developing a long-term financial projection. Dr. Timbs will hold a presentation on Monday, March 24, at 5:30 p.m. to share insights and discuss the financial landscape ahead.
