A shout-out to Lobbaka, Nowitzki, and Kamrass for their formal solos! Katie Nowitzki also showcased their conducting skills with the Concert Band, leading the performance of "March of the Belgian Paratroopers."
🎼 The Concert Band performed at NYSSMA level 3, while the Wind Ensemble took on the challenge of level 5.
Let's also celebrate our talented Grade 8 musicians who played in the Concert Band:
- Gloria Bradford on flute and piccolo

- Alexis Quinlan on bassoon
- Issabella Tuccilo on trombone

For those who might not know, NYSSMA stands for the New York State School Music Association. Their festivals, except for All-State, are evaluations rather than competitions, allowing students to compete with themselves year after year to improve their musical skills.
