Happy Groundhog Day!
As the live newscast from Gobbler’s Knob, Pennsylvania revealed that Phil did not see his shadow, signaling an early spring, the classroom erupted in cheers. The students, inspired by the occasion, joyfully colored groundhog dittos, creating a vibrant display that captured the spirit of the whimsical tradition. Here's to seeing the sunshine again.

Students began an art class with a fun Nature Scavenger Hunt, searching for clouds, flowers, grass, and more. As they explored, they sketched what they saw, capturing the beauty of nature around them.

Students in all of our elementary schools were treated to an engaging assembly earlier this month, thanks to Central Hudson and the National Theatre for Children! The assembly, called Project Energy, introduced our K-6 students to the world of renewable energy sources, ways to conserve energy, and how we measure it.

Recently, our Terrific Grade 1 students in Jaime Monroe's class Tackled the Tremendously Tough Task of mastering the letter T! From identifying different T sounds, sorting capitalized T and lower case t, and recognizing beginning T sounding words, Their Teamwork was Top-Tier!
