Autumn Cook, our Library Media Specialist at Cahill Elementary School, has been hosting “Book Tastings” for students!
Students began an art class with a fun Nature Scavenger Hunt, searching for clouds, flowers, grass, and more. As they explored, they sketched what they saw, capturing the beauty of nature around them.
Students in all of our elementary schools were treated to an engaging assembly earlier this month, thanks to Central Hudson and the National Theatre for Children! The assembly, called Project Energy, introduced our K-6 students to the world of renewable energy sources, ways to conserve energy, and how we measure it.
Recently, our Terrific Grade 1 students in Jaime Monroe's class Tackled the Tremendously Tough Task of mastering the letter T! From identifying different T sounds, sorting capitalized T and lower case t, and recognizing beginning T sounding words, Their Teamwork was Top-Tier!
Our Grade 2 students took a fun brain break while enjoying lunch today, and it was all smiles! Whether they were diving into their favorite school lunch or munching on a homemade meal, these students were fueling up for success. Full bellies = food for the mind! Now, who’s going to pass the chocolate milk?
