We, the Board of Education, staff, students, parents, and community share responsibility for meeting the needs of students living in a rapidly changing, pluralistic society. We endeavor to create an atmosphere where people are accepted as individuals in a safe environment that fosters self-discipline, mutual respect, cooperation, and academic excellence.

The Affordable Connectivity Program is a Federal Communications Commission program that helps connect families and households struggling to afford internet service. This new benefit provides a discount of up to $30 per month toward broadband service for eligible households.
Just another day at Cahill Elementary School, where curiosity knows no bounds! Gavin Brady, the Grade 1 wonderkid, couldn't help but ponder over the sharply dressed man always sporting a suit and tie and walking around the school building.
This fall, Saugerties High School celebrated the induction of alumna Sarah Thornton into the Section IX Track and Field Hall of Fame.
Some big congratulations are in order for the Saugerties football team.
Saugerties retirees and members of the Delta Kappa Gamma international organization composed of women educators, recently demonstrated their commitment to their former school community by collecting a car full of non-perishable food items for the Saugerties backpack program.
'Tis the season of giving, and what better way to spread the holiday cheer than by coming together to support our local community and The SCORE Store! The SCORE Store was born out of an idea that was generated in one of our Sociology classes, where students initiated the process of creating a "Give What You Can/Free" Store for the students and families of the Saugerties Central School District.
